Large green resin sign with white lettering framed and held by wooden posts.

 

Wording:

Weeks Crossing. Prior to the reconstruction of the intersection, this area was commonly referred to as the Week’s Traffic Circle. It was named for the restaurant which was situated in the middle of the traffic circle between Dover and Somersworth. Weeks Restaurant operated at this site from 1964 – 1995. Growing from an ice cream shop to a full service restaurant, Weeks Restaurant was known throughout the area for its community service and accomplishments. Prior to Weeks Restaurant, both the Big Dipper and North Star Ice Cream operated from this location as far back as World War II.
